The origin of the wine was in Trimbach 1626. Since then, twelve generations of winemakers have been consistently distinguish themselves by the quality and authenticity of their wines.

Vignoble_AlsacienIt is from 1898, with Frederic Emile Trimbach, the name of Trimbach acquires its true internationally renowned. Today, the family vineyard is led by Hubert Trimbach, his nephews John and Peter, and his daughter Anne, the eldest of the 13th generation.

Over time, the “style Trimbach” became a world reference among the wines of Alsace. Family closely monitors all activities on the field, the planting of vines to harvest, and vinification to bottling.

The vineyards of Maison Trimbach are all located around Ribeauvillé, where soils are predominantly limestone : Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, Bergheim, Rorschwihr, Riquewihr and Mittelwihr.

They take advantage of the microclimate Alsatian single, protected by the Vosges.

generations

The Trimbach have always had a vision of purists. Since 12 generations, they produce very dry wines, rights, racy, lively and fruity, elegant and balanced : is the "Trimbach style" ! A style which perfectly suits the cuisine and all kinds of world cuisines (spicy, Asian, eastern, etc..).

Leave the Trimbach wines aged in their cellar for a few years before commercialization, especially great wines as Riesling Frederic Emile, which is sold 5 years after harvest !

This vintage wine is emblematic of the area. It is a dry Riesling and mineral, faithful to the philosophy of the House. Issu du Geisberg et Osterberg, two parcels of old vines on soil marly calcareous sandstone located just behind the house, This Riesling is a great wine for aging.
