It is in this town that was founded the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin, famous in Burgundy, and whose first "chapter" was held in 1934. All these evocative names resound in the ears of lovers of great wines.

Produced from a brown soil formed from limestone and clay, Nuits-Saint-Georges usually wear red color and intense dark. Powerful, complex, and well balanced, their aromas mingle with both the cherry, blackcurrant, the nose, and often spices. In mouth, they show the vinosity, the sap, of the frame and velvet both. Particularly robust, there are cut for a long aging.

The few white wines of Nuits-Saint-Georges are from varieties Chardonnay, or pinot blanc. Very rare, they represent just 2% of production and act for the amateur wine anthology.
